Turning biowaste into biogas

This year, we are once again collecting biowaste at the ‘Original Streetfood Festival Tour’. After the end of the festival, this biowaste will be processed into Swiss biogas in one of over 46 biogas plants and fed into the local gas network. The clean separation of biowaste and materials such as plastic or aluminium is crucial here, and we need your help on site to ensure that the waste is separated properly.

Collecting mobility data

As part of our sustainability efforts, we also support the festival in collecting mobility data and conduct a survey among visitors to determine the festival's carbon footprint.

Remuneration

For your support we offer you 20 CHF per hour. A shift lasts 3 hours, but you can also be assigned several shifts. You will of course receive this information in good time. With your remuneration, you can savour the variety of street food on offer, from Tibetan momos to Greek gyros and Austrian Kaiserschmarrn.
